So, some of you may be wondering ... why tailwindALWAYS? Heck, who am I kidding ... no one reads this anyway! :) Well it has something to do with a family friend and a cycling jersey just to let you know!
It goes back to 2002 RAGBRAI (pronounced "rag bry" for those of you who don't know ;-) On our "team" for the "race" was none other than Rob Templin; who has to be one of the most modest guys I know, but man he can ride!
So, we were staying overnite in Emmetsburg where my Mom happened to be living at the time. She made a home cooked meal for our "team", but most of us went up town for some other food. 
Since Rob is a single man he loves home cooked meals. He loved it so much he wanted to thank my mom so ... he gave me a Burley jersey (he was working for Burley at the time). Wow, how cool is that! Thanks again Mom! :)
